When we were boys,my father used to take us bird watching up in Stellenborsch.We found it BORING so we devised our own agenda : bird hunting!Whilst my father was sitting on a tree somewhere,we'd sneak away with our slingshots in hand.My brother told me that you only needed a fire to cook something.So we'd shoot down innocent birds,braai (BBQ) them and then make up a story that we'd tell Dad.Good times!

Haha,SA and Netherlands share such a unique bond but there aren't any current national relations with them.Thabo Mbeki,our president seems to be solely focused on building & strengthening relationships with the G8 countries mostly and also similar African states i.e. Nigeria,Kenya,Botswana and Namibia.
