It was my best friend's grandmother's 88th Birthday Party today, so I went out for that - we had a lovely meal at a restaurant called the Red Rose, which is one of her favourites ...

Born in 1920 and she's SO spritely it's amazing - such a remarkable woman :biggrin:.

Her Birthday was on the 3rd, but this is the date she chose for her party as it was the most convenient for her grandsons (one of whom is a fire fighter, and so works shifts).

I bought her a big bunch of flowers for her Birthday which she phoned me to thank me for, bless her.

LOOOOOOONG nite chatting with my #1 matey & went to bed with the chirping of the birdies, lol. A great way to fall asleep.

Woke up rested and had a look around for a change up of things and realized when I reinstalled my Leo I didnt install the included iLife apps??? How did that happen???

Enjoying the weather as it has been raining & cool. The sun is out now but it is still cool... meaning lots of grass cutting coming soon.

I'm not long home from work. I've caught a stinking cold :frown: Have had cough and sore throat the last 3 days... and now it's moved onto the sneezing all day followed by blocked nose stage.

Today has been a lovely day inspite of that. Went for a window-shop with my guy (except we bought stuff oops) and then for a wonderful lunch.

Hope everyone's ok and just want to apologise for being fairly AWOL lately :frown:

I spent the day inside resting... got a very busy week coming up. The nite is cool and very dark. Got all the windows open and loving the fresh air.

Got to make a dream come true today - HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY.

Cape Town is so cold!Well,yesterday I waited up for my friend and he finally came through then we chatted over some coffee.We got so personal that it scared me but he understood and was a perfect gentleman.We spoke until I was falling asleep and then he had to go.He said he's coming over again tonight so I'm very happy.I like where our friendship is going.
