Bye Joseph, hope that little nap was restful for you. Had a good day too, we finally moved that piece of furniture that was blocking the entrance to the kitchen and sorted a few things that have been lying around. Wasn't really ready for it, but it's good. Since the show tonight got rained off, I was able to stay at home and cook pink blueberry pasta for my family (don't ask, it's a local speciality)... They are watching Tv right now and I'm answering here... to those who need them, and one back to Andy... thanks.

Big love to everyone who needs it after the past day or so.

My day was going so well until lunchtime came about. The microwave in the stafroom decided not to switch off when the timer ended and i wsn't really paying attention as i was so engrossed gossiping my lunch decided to die on me and was really not palatable at all.

Then i was serving a customer and (as i am contractually obliged) offered her a storecard. And she just went off on one at me, all calling me outrageous and pointing her finger aggressively and then she goes 'YOU'VE asked me four times now...' and i just snapped. Baring in mind i was tired and hungover from thursday night (beer + cider + wine + vodka = OUCH) and she'd then gone on to basically tell me how to sell things to her and how to do my job. went all sassy at her and said that just like when she's at work i'm just one person in a large company doing what i'mI told. I said it's not exactly fun for me having to ask literally every customer to take one out.

Then at the end of the day this unbelievably rude old woman asks me if we have any more of this pair of shoes she's holding and i say i'm not sure and in the time it takes me to breathe in and try to say 'but i can check for you'. She launches intop this big rant about how its not difficult to check and starts savaging me calling me lazy and incompetent so then my manager (who's been standing there watching the whole thing) comes over and stands up for me and tries to sort the situation out and the bitch starts laying into her too, saying she used to be a manager there once upon a time (im guessing thousands of millennia ago before time began) and she used to be a shareholder blah blah blah so she's writing to head office ot complain about me now too...

Why can't people just be nice to someone who's providing them a service?? I may work there, but these women actually SHOP there ffs :frown::frown:

Well a to you Sox as I believe you need one... I don't know why customers can't be pleasant to those offering them a service, and when they deliberately go into a shop to find something. I can never understand difficult customers.

Today I'm very good. After almost dying in another TWO near car crashes last night - all happening within literally 20 seconds of eachother (noooot my fault! both down to stupid drivers)!! One was someone going onto the other side of the road to overtake and almost smashing into an oncoming vehicle!! The other was motorbikes coming AROUND me and almost getting clipped by another car, which of course would have smashed into ME... they got LUCKY i tell ya coz it was CLOSE!

However, I'm extremely good. Got the best boyfriend in the world, possibly a new job on the cards, it's all good! :biggrin:

Man, I guess it was all good luck but I would be so shaken up... someone is really watching out for ya
