If you enjoy watching fish Rofl you buy them, feed them, breed them, sell them, buy a bigger tank and so on.

Tired but doing great.

I had a ‘date’ with my straight best friend yesterday.

We go out together almost every week but this is the first time we went for a dinner in a proper restaurant. It was an Indian cuisine restaurant. He wanted to introduce me to Indian cuisine.

As usual, he picked me up from my house. Mr. T looked incredible. He was well dressed in a red checkered shirt and fitted jeans. He was incredibly handsome last night.

“Hey…” He greeted me with a smile.

I smiled back.

He set up his car’s GPS. “Ready to go?”

“Yeah, I’m hungry.”

Our conversation throughout the ride was occasionally being interrupted by the GPS robotic voice. “At the junction…turn left. At the junction … turn right.”

The GPS was annoying to the both of us. But it was necessary to switch it on as Mr. T’s is not familiar with the location of the restaurant.

“Why did the GPS ordered us to turn left? The restaurant is located at the opposite direction.” I asked Mr. T. I’ve never been to this restaurant before but I am familiar with its location because the restaurant’s location is located nearby to my office.

“Well the GPS says so …” He shrugged.

“But we should take the right junction instead of left junction. The restaurant is on the other side. I know because it’s located close to my office.”

“But the GPS says left. Let’s just follow its direction.”

“Aw. You trust your GPS more than your own friend.” I acted hurt.

“Ha, ha …”

He continued to follow the GPS’s instruction and voila, we ended up in nowhere. We were lost. We spent 30 minutes trying to find our way back to the correct junction.

I know Mr. T very well. He gets frustrated when he is under stress. He promised to reach the restaurant at 7pm but we were still crawling to find the right direction at 7.30pm.

I massaged his left shoulder. “Relax. It’s okay.”

"I'm sorry, babe." He curved an apologetic smile. “Let’s follow your direction, okay? I’m sorry.”

I blinked. Babe?

What in the world? Babe? Wait, maybe I heard it wrong. Yep, I’m sure I heard it wrong.

‘Are you okay, babe?”

I froze for a second.

Eeep.

He called me, Babe.

“Yeah, yeah I’m okay.”

He continued to call me Babe all the way to the restaurant. I was confused. What kind of straight guy calls another guy a babe? Even the metrosexual David Beckham wouldn’t go that far. Sheesh.

Mr. T is not gay. He is a certified straight man. I know so because I’ve asked him up front.

Anyway we eventually found the restaurant. We arrived at the restaurant at around 7.40pm.

“Wow, Jay. Look at the cars.” He pointed to all the cars at the restaurant’s parking lot. There were all luxury and high-end cars.

The restaurant’s design reflects a countryside village home. Its interior is exuberant and theatrical with a touch of bohemian artistry, yet its atmosphere is cozy. You can hear classical Indian music serenades gently in every nook and cranny.

“Act like rich people.” He whispered to me.

I rolled my eyes. “You do come from a super rich family.”

We seated at a guest waiting room whilst waiting for our table. Few minutes later, a man in nice black suit approached and greeted us.

“Hello, sir. Did you make a reservation?”

“No. Is there a table for two?” Mr. T asked.

The man in black suit looked at a reservation book that he was holding. “I’ll see if I can get you a table.”

“You didn’t make a reservation?” I whispered at Mr. T. “I thought you did.”

He smiled sheepishly.

Thankfully we were able to get a table.

Mr. T selected and ordered our cuisine. He was eager to introduce the best of Indian cuisine to me.

Our dinner was filled with good conversation and laughs. We shared our food and plates. He asked me to try every cuisine on our table from Briyani Rice, Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Tikka and more.

“Jay, can you pay the bill first? I thought I brought enough cash with me. But I didn’t. Sorry”

“Sure. I think I have enough money inside my wallet. I still have my credit card as a backup.” I gave him a thumb up.

“If your card is rejected … uh, I don’t know you and I’ve never seen you before.” He joked.

“Relax.” I took a sip of water. “The worst thing that could happen to us is we wash dishes for the whole night.”

He laughed. ‘I have my credit card too. I just prefer to use cash.”

“Same with me.” I agreed.

Mr. T sent me home safe and sound. But of course, we got lost again in our way to my house. Ha, ha.

“Thanks for taking me to that restaurant. I really enjoyed it.” We traded fist bump.

"I hate you ..." Mr.T smiled.

“I know.”

"Call me or text me later, okay?" He added.

I smiled. "Roger that."

"Now get lost." He winked.

But of course, it was Mr. T who reaches his Samsung S4 to give me a call. As usual, we spent almost 2 hours talking to each other.

He gave me another call on the next morning to ask how I was doing.

It was then continued with What’s App conversation.

Sigh. My best friend, Mr. T.

Wolverine

Last week, he and I went to see Pacific Rim at a cinema. Next week, we'll be watching Wolverine.

Last night, I had a little conversation with him on Wolverine's new movie.

"Wolverine's latest movie has received mixed reviews ... some say it's horrible. Some say it's bad and few reviewers think it's a masterpiece." I said to him.

"We are watching." He replied. Firmly.

"I'm just saying." I laughed a little. I know that he has been looking forward to see Wolverine's latest flick for months.

"And that's it."

"Okay, okay ..."

"No more talking about Wolverine's new movie." He added.

"Roger that. Got it ..."

"I told you before that we are going to watch it and we will watch it."

"Okayyyy..." I continued to laugh.

"I am angry now." He was joking of course.

"Aw. So cute ..." I teased him.

He made a fake grunt. I laughed again.

Then we continued our conversation on other stuff.

The girl that he’s having a crush with is going to be one hell of a lucky girl.

As for the guy who asked me out few weeks ago, he went back to his homeland few days later. If I'm not mistaken, he's from New Zealand. I don't know if he's returning or not. I'm fine if he's not.

The end.

Feeling normal again! Yaaaaaay! :3

Was ill as hell on Friday and Saturday, to the point that amongst my more obvious symptoms (pain, nausea, dizziness, etc), I also began to hallucinate. Well, I certainly hope I was hallucinating... Otherwise I really did grow four extra pairs of arms and have a little goblin sitting on my chest all friday night staring at me. And I'd much rather think I didn't Laugh

Still, goblin or no goblin, I'm much better now thank goodness! Biglaugh

Just glad it only lasted a few days. Last time I was that bad, it stayed with me for weeks Sad
