Extremely anxious right now. I lodged and anonymous workplace complaint and decided to use an old unused email account as no one knows it is me, but when I signed up the account I used my full name, just forgot.

I emailed the three page complaint to the General Manager of my brand and the Managing Director of the company ( My brand employs 6 000 people, but the company employs 140 000), my full name was revealed so they now know who I am and are asking me to ring them to chat in more detail.

Fucking shitting myself.

No backing down now..you're doing what's right for you and the rest of the employees...you have the nerve necessary to deal with this, if what I've seen of you so far is any indication.

On a happier note....I have the flu...in the middle of summer...

Thank you guys, I know I can do it, I know I have to do it because my employees are grumbling about a few things and one Of them is my manager...there are several levels of managment in my company.

The thing that I am worried about the most is my working environment and job security after I deal with this.

Good. It's rainy here all weeks. However, I'm not a goingout person, so I'll just play game all day Smile

My thoughts exactly..

but it may be not be all that bad...if it helps, one time my mom and her co-workers striked for 2 months to get better salaries..it caused friction but all of them kept their jobs and got raises..

If you play it right, it doesn't have to mean jeopardizing your job, meaning if they see you as a valuable worker eloquently outspoken and not just a hell-raiser, it will be harder for them to have a reason to fire you or to retaliate on the rest...perhaps

If they don't care or listen to you, then you know that company doesn't care about its employees. Not worth wasting you working life on. Better to find greener pastures.

If they do listen and do care, then you may have saved them a lot of money in the long run.

Three suggestions when talking to "THE boss"....

1. Keep everything "short and sweet", don't prattle on about everything. Stay on point.
If the boss/bosses want you to expand on a point, do so, but also keep it short and sweet. Bosses are like toddlers, they have an attention span of about 3 seconds. Keep them interested in what you are saying, don't give them a chance to get bored.

2. No matter if you are talking about bad managers or worthless employees, DON'T put them down or call them names. Keep it all professional. There are ways to tell them what is going on without putting someone down. Once you have put down someone in their employ, you have lost their interest.

3. Keep everything in reference to MONEY, TIME LOST, and LOW PRODUCTIVITY. Those are the three TOP things to keep in reference. If a manager is treating employees badly, keep it in reference of how this affects the employees, gives them lower moral, which in turn creates lower productivity, more employees seeking more time off, which in turn is money lost for the company. (as an example) Bosses LOVE it when you can save them money and make production better....or have the ideas for it.

4. On your meeting day, be sure and wear nice clothes (if you are able too). Or at least have time to put on a tie before hitting the big bosses office.

You might already know this stuff, but thought I would "throw it out there" anyway.Herz

[COLOR="Indigo"]I'm doing good. I'm just so happy, cause my life is not perfect, but glorious <3

My Sister and I were dancing to Shakira's Waka Waka (sry Mars :p) , a couple of other songs, we made some Curry Tuna and crackers and we took the dog for a walk to the store to pick up some cheese and then ran back, much to the dog's enjoyment lol.

Now I'm sitting my phat ass down and talking to you guys <3

Still looking for a new job, but I'm happy regardless.

You've obviously mistaken any of us as someone who gives a damn.
