I think myself about some of the advances we had in tech in the past when I was younger and how my parents at the time were leery of them, and I shudder to think that I'm like that over this, lol.
in this particular circumstance, there's an 7 year difference between us. I'm 48, he's 41. I think he and I have a different approach to interacting with other people; I prefer face to face, guess the times are changing.

I did at the end make the right choice for me, and this wasn't the only reason for the breakup. I'll see that it was the right thing, for me, a long time from now, no matter how much it hurts now... it would have hurt a hell of a lot more if I had done it when our lives were a lot more entwined and we realized we weren't on the same page.
This would make an interesting concept for fiction, or nonfiction, I think. No generation in history has ever really had to deal with this relationship dynamic... No?
People losing a relationship to social networking? Who will step up and put a Hemingwayesque twist?
