Tea or coffee?

It's tea for me.... All tea.... I'm a little teapot, short and stout, here's my handle... ahem... and here's my spout....

Well, I keep coffee for all my friends who like it, but I rarely have coffee unless it's late and I've got to drive home at night and I'm tired, and there's nothing else offered... Otherwise I steer clear of it, though I quite like the smell and flavour in ice-cream and cakes for instance. Don't actually like the drink very much. Have read, and noticed, however that a cup of coffee when you're having a fit of asthma does help to sooth the wheezing after a while. Don't know why.
Marsh won't touch either tea or coffee, so it's no good my trying to convince him to try it.

True, but I did try a cup of tea (and maybe also a coffee) 48 years ago ...

I used to work with someone who smelled of stale coffee (is there such a thing?) It seemed to come through his pores and certainly his breath. It was not at all attractive :eek:

tea for me. 2 sugars and a slice of lemon please.

i got this habit from my grandpa, who would wake up every morning before i did and make tea for me, with lemon slices and the perfect amount of sugar. so when i got up the whole kitchen had a sweet tea fragrance, and my breakfast always included a nice hot cup of tea with toasted bread and my grandmother's jam. tea + jam is forever linked with me. mile:

i rarely drink coffee but i love eating 2-3 coffee beans, the taste is really strong and the aroma is great. i do love cafe frappe with ice cream, yum. or the occasional cappuccino. in paris it's all i ever drank to keep up with my busy schedule. :biggrin:
