After giving it another thought,if I am to migrate to,let say,UK, I don't really mind if our prayer is not broadcast on mainstream channels. I know what I'm getting into when I migrate to non-Islamic country,and if people of the country aren't comfortable with that,why the force? I should be more tolerant since it is not like in my own country. And I could always watch Islamic channels.

I wonder though,who gave approval for this broadcast? If it was a Muslim,fair enough,maybe he doesn't realize people of UK aren't comfortable with it. But if it was a non-Muslim,why indeed?

Why do people on this forum have an issue with me expecting migrants, muslims in particular, because other faiths DO fit in very well, to do their bit to fit into the British way of life?

This is just a small sample, I would suggest The Muslims in Britain are pretty well represented.
In fact, where is my community leader?
Where is the White Police officers Association?

Regardless on how bad I feel about religion I do feel that there are enough religious channels that everyone has access to in the UK to see those prayers anyway. Religion is a personal thing and should be left at that. Channel 4 is great for the vast range of different programmes they show but this really is choosing to cater for a single audience. I don't even like that the BBC has Songs of Praise either so its not just a nudge at the Islamic faith.

Do you know how many Islamic channels are broadcast free to air in the UK?

We have 5 mainstream channels, and Islamic channels out number that.

So tell me, why do they need to use the mainstream channels for prayer?
