There's not an equation for love, every relationship is different and unique on their own, and most of the people with successful relationships I know didn't look for them, they just went on about their ways, one day met their partners became friends and fell in love, while dating sites work for some they are way more hard, first you don't see the other person face to face at first, there are infinite little things that makes a first meeting click, second you and him are nervous because instead of just meeting a friend your measuring him against what you want in a partner, and finally, i believe it speed things up a lot, which ideally, sounds wonderful, in reality it isn't.
Not that I'm that awesome at relationships but what little advice I can give you is: broad your social circle,go out, go to parties, meet new friends, you cannot meet the love of your life if you don't meet new people, and plus a new friend never hurts, second, always be truthful, don't exaggerate your attributes, if that is not enough for the other dude he's not right for you, it would be tiresome maintaining a relationship where the other dude thinks you're someone you aren't it wouldn't be real and how long would it last?, so so if you're 5'9 don't say you're 6'1, and when someone ask you if you do an sport don't say you play basketball just because you watch the games, third, don't be judgmental, no one is perfect no one so if you hate Lady Gaga, but you meet a cute guy who loves her don't write him off just because you think he has awful music taste, but don't lie about hating her, if asked just say that you don't like her, don't go on a passionate speech why you hate her, that is not lying, it is just being polite, you don't know how life will surprise you, he may be the guy who holds your hand when everyone else leaves you, and lastly, enjoy your life, life as a single being doesn't suck, pursue your other passions right now, there isn't a more powerful aphrodisiac than someone who is enjoying his life and is happy with the person he is, they simply glow.
As I said I'm not an expert on relationships by a long shot, but still I hope some of this helps you.
