Well, I have no experience with lesbian porn but I don't understand why people are so upset by this post. Porn in general tends to be pretty exaggerated and sometimes hilarious and the reason he mentioned lesbian pornography specifically is because the question was addressed to gay men who are obviously not attracted to women. It's not really a comment to make a big deal out of.

That being said, porn as a whole can be kind of amusing sometimes. Like when it's trying really hard to present a hot scenario and fails miserably, or when the actors butcher their already awful lines with poor acting skills.

What annoys me are the guys who mistake porn with reality and act as if I'm the one who has a problem when I don't want to act like some nympho with them (who I just met) when their lame and blatant harassment doesn't work out as it normally does in straight porn (and I seriously doubt it would even if I were straight).

I watch very little porn but from what I've seen I can say I prefer straight porn made by women for women to that of lesbian porn made by men for men. Natch, lesbian porn made by lesbians for lesbians is the best (IMO)!

ETA: Oh yeah, there's a type of "gay male" comic from Japan that's by women for women (though the heteronormative values are such that I wasn't able to tell it was 2 men at first when just flipping through one such book). That was sweet, and it did appeal to me. There's another kind made by gay men for gay men and what little I've seen of it is much more explicit with less romantic plots. I found it mildly interesting (as a curiosity) but only for a short while.
