Well, I'm 26 and I've been part of LGBT groups and have gone
to clubs/bars and also gone to a College with quite a LGBT student
population..

..and I still haven't found a bf..

I made loads of friends though ;D

It would be kind of cool if there was a consolation prize bf
as soon as you come out like in those typical Gay teen coming
out movies.

I'm a very giving person,,, So,,,, You single guys can have my husband. He's a great cook, likes romance, will fix whatever is broken around the house, and has a great retirement income.

The draw-back is,,,,,,, he's 77 years old and likes peeing in the back yard, doesn't comb his hair, votes republican, and you'll have to follow him around with a broom and clean up his messes.

I know most of you will draw the line at "voting republican", but you can do like I do - give him the wrong date for voting and he'll miss it. I later lie and say I must have been confused!!! Please forgive me (with a big smile)...........

How to find a boyfriend? well, first of all stop looking for one lol. Until you're not happy with being by yourself you will never feel complete even if you find someone to be your boyfriend, even if just for a while, it will eventually make you feel even worst. I know that for experience, I had my share of failed relationships all because I was always looking for someone. I never felt good with being by myself and always ended up dragging bad relationships and hurting myself because I feared being alone. To stop this, since my last failed relationship I decided to give some time to myself, to try and have some fun alone, to be with my friends and do all those things I couldn't do because my boyfriends didn't like to do them. It was hard at the beginning, I really like to cuddle and all that stuff, and It still is sometimes, but I'm starting to think differently like, what's the problem of cuddling a friend if both of us are comfortable with that. Just as for cuddling, I feel that I can replace almost anything I could do with a boyfriend with my friends and family (loyalty, companionship and other things) and even while I'm alone I can still be happy without some of those things.
Just for curiosity, and this is true, all my friends that have healthy relationships and are truly happy with them, found their boyfriends/girlfriends at a time of their life where they felt happy being by themselves. Even those who previously had failed relationships, because they were also desperately looking for someone to be with, and decided to stop looking for someone to be with.
Another interesting thing they said to me was that the boyfriend/girlfriend they found was not someone who completed them, but someone who added something more to their life... that's something to think of.. and for the meanwhile just stick to trying hard to make those things that only depend on you and that make you feel happy
