Ok, we can do something like a political movement, a 'manifesto', titled: I WANT A BOYFRIEND! (or GIRLFRIEND!)

I also badly want a boyfriend. I am not ashamed to say I am a bit desperate. The town I live in has barely any gays at all. Its a total shame.

Hi Sich...

You say you just broke up with your boyfriend of two years.

Don't you feel it's a little early to be jumping headlong in to another?

Could it be that by getting in to another relationship as soon as possible after the last, that you're hoping to avoid having to deal with the emotions of the split up by covering them up with the equally powerful emotions of the new?

Also, it's not really conducive for a good relationship with someone else to bring the baggage of your previous relationship in to a new one. What is likely to happen is you'll end up bitching about your ex and that can make someone else in your life feel a little intimidated, like you're still holding a light for your ex and that you could desert your new boyfriend for your ex - or similar.

Best to wait a while and see how things pan out. I usually recommend a three month period, at least, in which you've had no contact with your ex before you start dating again.

Nobody wants ex baggage in a new relationship - be cool!

If it helps fill your time, you have these forums.

Good luck!
