I want a boyfriend

justbry87 Wrote:Being out doesn't necessarily mean that it's easier to find a bf. I've
been out since I was 13 and I've only really had like one boyfriend and
one where it was just a mutual understanding.

At this moment, an idea of a boyfriend would be nice, but I'm still working
on myself. I'm sure we'll find each other if it's meant to be..

same boat... the idea with someone is great but having to deal with drama and time management between life and him... no thanks not right now. i still have a shit ton to deal with.

Don’t say that! You have so much to offer… you just need a good kick in the @$$ to get you out the door… :p

Thanks....but it's not just low self-esteem talking...

from what I've seen so far in many people I've met over the years, they seem to look for things that I don't have..and the qualities I do have are not on the list of requirements to be BF material..Cry

I don't understand.

You have looks, charm, charisma, career, brains… I’m certain the list could go on. Since I have never been on the dating scene, or even within a stones throw, I can’t say much from experience or what guys look for (which I know I haven’t got without looking)… but I know a little of you, and any guy should count himself lucky to hold you. I mean, what the heck else do they want?

I can't say I understand it, either..

Quite frankly, school was all about being the cool kid...and I was the exact opposite...I was on a level lower than nerds and outcasts.....the whole dating scene in college had much to do with going out to get wasted and stuff like that...I never liked doing that, hence I was on a group with me, myself and I...that got me to be bitter, thus, less appealing I think...

I suppose those priorities change with age...

Its never too late, maybe extend it til 35?? Smile
I guess being in a relationship when you are older will be better since you are more matured to handle things. Your 26 year old self is absolutely better than your 22 year old self. When you are young you are susceptible to many mistakes, like do you think your boyfriend when you are 20 yrs old will remain till you grow old?? Not a chance! But if you found him on a later age, better chance for both of you to grow old together.. Sometimes its just friendship and companionship that will remain in the end..

But right now, ugh i dont care if im single really. I want my next one to be forever.. Lol. I should earn more and work hard so we can have a nice house with nice things..
