Thats another GOOD thing about living in the USA, not EVERYTHING is closed down on holidays here....unless you are in a small town.

I love Christmas even though we don't have Snow, snowmen,Snow Angel, Christmas Trees, Fireplaces, An actual Winter, Chimneys, or most anything related to Christmas lol.

We hang stockings and usually just decorate a Table with fake snow and put the Presents there, unless you're able to get a fake tree.

Some families kinda combine Kwanzaa, in that the Candles are lit for each day of the seven days for the seven principles. I think we did that once or twice...

I don't know about y'all, but for us Christmas is pretty much a island wide community thing. Like for practically everything else, its celebrated and made into sort of a festival.

Some people call it an "Island Christmas" or "Summer Christmas" which I guess is true.

So yeah, get over it bitter queens. :p

You MONSTERS! I freaking LOVE Christmas! Even now as I don't get nearly as many presents as I used to and now I'm the one giving rather than receiving, I just love this time of year. I love the lights, the cheerful atmosphere, the snow (I get it at least), the TV specials, being with family, listening to Christmas music, mmmmmmmmmm I love it!

Erm, that isn't specifically Christian, anyone can do that and at any time of the year.

Thankfully, I never saw anything like that in my home. My family and extended family were the type of people who didn't even use bad language in the home.

Don't know what went wrong with me, I love a good obscenity-dropping session. It's actually scientifically proven to help us to cope with stress in a way which doesn't involve breaking each others heads on Boxing Day (No pun intended!)
