It has been a lot time since i posted but i am back!

So today i had sex my first time in over a year. The guy i was with was really nice, i am a vers and do not really have a preference. I bottom today because quite frankly i was too big for him to take me. LOL

I thought i would have to go to the ER but the bleeding stopped dripping and then stopped externally. I can feel a dull throbbing pain though in my i dont know what to call it, lower bowels? I am not sure if i need to go the doctor it doesnt hurt bad at all i just know its there. I am hoping i will heal? I know it was his finger nails because our intercourse didnt hurt at all. Any suggestions?

Your insides are not as tough as the outsides. It does not take much to damage the inside walls and linings.

If you arent going to go to a Dr. Then douche yourself out until clean. Dont eat anything but soft food or soups for the next couple of days. If you see blood again....definitely go see the Dr.

But I would suggest you go see the Dr. regardless.

Each time you have a bowel movement you most likely are going to open this up, further more you run a risk of contracting a nasty infection.

Are you still bleeding/leaking blood? If so how many hours has this been going on? More than 8- its time to schedule a next day visit with your doctor if its more than a few drops.

If you are slowly leaking/oozing blood from down yonder, more than a quarter of size of leakage every 2 hours or less into your underwear for 6+ hours its time to go to the ER.

See one of the issues is the high risk of infection from fecal matter, the other side here is the inner tissues of the rectum and bowels are moist by nature and are difficult to scab over. A minor scratch outside on the skin will get a tough scab relatively fast and that seals up the wound, furthermore white-blood cell plasma leaks into the scab to kill any potential invaders - you are not getting this scab inside your rectum rapidly, and if it does form fast enough you will soon be pushing crap out which will most likely rip that scab or those scabs (because we have no idea if this is one scratch or dozens).

Each time one of those scratches are opened you run the risk of getting gut flora into your blood stream. While E.coli occurs naturally in your gut and is a helpful critter, it stops being helpful and becomes harmful if it gets into other parts of your body.

Then you have to wonder how clean his fingernails really were. Frankly, humans are plague infested disease ridden critters that carry more diseases under their fingernails than flea infested rats do (understand flea infested rats caused that minor plague of the medieval period that wiped out about 30% of the human population during that time). Bacteria, parasites, fungi, clumps of dirt seen and unseen, and lots of other interesting things are found under fingernails, even right after cleaning.

So there is a pretty large risk here of infection(s), either from his nails or from your own fecal matter.

I would strongly suggest you start taking your temperature every 4 hours. Get a good baseline of your own temperature. While 98.6°F (37°C) is accepted as normal, truth is there is about one degree F variation depending on the time of day and the human being. 99F isn't unheard of in a healthy human being.

If you spike over 100°F (37.78°C) it may be indicative of the early signs of an infection and you should call your doctor for a same day visit) If your temperature hits 101°F (38.333_°C) its definitely time to take this to the ER room - and you need to tell them that you have a fever of 101°F (38.333_°C) AND that you have had bleeding injury to your rectum/anus recently. They need to know that there is a potential for infection since some of those infections can get pretty nasty, very fast.

Assuming you are just spotting over the course of the day (I suggest wearing white underwear and check every 4-6 hours during the day) if it persists for more than 4 days set up a next day visit with your doctor. Assuming no signs of infection (fever).

If the pain increases, you start bleeding more, you start feeling weak/dizzy/flushed hot/heated down there, go to ER.

Chances are perhaps pretty small that you will have to see a doctor. If you are young and in good health you most likely will not have a problem.

Douching - How long has it been since you got the injury? Over 4 hours - then don't bother.

Eating soft foods/high fluid diet only applies if you are prone to hard stool. you definitely do NOT want to have loose stool (diarrhea) at this time. If you have soft stool and it doesn't pain you much to have a bowel movement, or doesn't lead to more bleeding then do not attempt to loosen your stool further.

If you are prone to constipation or hard stool - I strongly suggest you call your physician and set up a same day appointment. Why? Because you are most likely going to have a very hard time at healing in the rectum/anus area if you are prone to hard stool to constipation thus run a greater risk of infections.
