I don't really want too many flowers, because they look hard to maintain and don't serve too much purpose.

Nu uh.

The Kowhai plant/tree bark in Kiwi-land can be cooked and utilized as a sort of BanGay for your back/muscular pains.

I have to read up on it more, but it seems the flowers can also act as a Yellow colouring dye.

They do gots a purpose Lilly gurl! Wink however, when not cooked, it's typically poisonous, though it doesn't say it's fatal...

Sucking the sap/nectar out of bell-flowers(not sure if you guys have them) and Hibiscus cores(again not sure) is a good way to attain sugar, in a raw honey like state*tho very little)

I typically did it as a child with Hibiscus.

I need to finish reading this pdf book y'all to learn all the plants x.x ~~

If i could, I would like to grow all the herbs.

Spring onions

Tomatoes

DON'T SAY THAT ABOUT FLOWERS EVER LIL!!!
Flowers make other animals come. Like bees which are dying out. they stop other plants from getting diseased by bring other little critters round to kill off baddies

My garden is 550 square feet, my home is 450 square feet. LOL

I raise about 60% of my own veg at home.

Predominately:

Tomatoes (two types)
Potatoes (Red white and brown)
Sweet potatoes
Acorn Squash
Pumpkin (both field and Jack O'lantern)
Butternut Squash
Yellow Squash
Zucchini

Radish
Lettuce
Three types of onion
Peas
Green Beans
Broccoli
Cauliflower
Bell pepper
Cucumber
Carrots
Celery

I have a small plot of corn, unfortunately corn is a real nitrogen hog, and you get 1-2 ears per stalk. Not very efficient when it comes to how much space one uses to get corn.

I also have herbs tucked here and there throughout these 2 acres, amongst that would be Bay-leaf, parsley, Oregano, Sage, Lavender. I also grow things like Chamomile for tea and catnip (for tea). There is sort of a longish list of plants I grow as herbs and spices. It varies from year to year, my perennials are always in, annuals I plant sporadically based on need.

I have 4 grape vines and three patches of black berry. I always wanted to get fruit trees, but there is really not that much room in my virtual forest to actually raise any more trees.

I have grape fruit, orange and two kinds of lemon.

We have a garden at the back of our other house...

With 4 banana trees, tomotoes, sweet potato, string beans, 2 yr old mango, sapodilla, moringa, and other herbal plants...

And whenever we ate a nice sweet fruit, we keep the seeds and plant it.
