my mother asked me....

Ask her in return how did it felt for her.

How good her loins and insides were feeling when she and dad were busy making you..

that should stop any further question

make her uncomfortable, cause uncomfortable people don't ask questions!

I believe you people did not grasp the hyperbole here.

I bet it's hard to understand sarcasm and such things online.

what I meant is you can ask her simply "mom, what would you feel If I asked you about your sex life?" and that should put a stop to it.

...oh, crap...you did not just self-delete on account of that..

jeez, people

@Southbiochem; I thought it was a decently funny. Sometimes forcing people to see how their actions are making others feel does make them reconsider their actions, so your joke was a little serious, like most jokes.

If he wants to come back, he will. When things this small set people off and they don't approach you about an issue there's not a lot you can do...

You are funny, Woolyhats, every time I hear your name I think of the many years I spend in Siberian Gulag, yes comrade, it was cold, but it was good times... better than what we had in Kolpolskatveenska... And da hats were wool and warm... Good times.

Thanks, Wolly

I do regret I didn't made clear it was a hyperbolic joke the first time. Gotta watch out for that in the future.

LORD this is a VERY EASY question to answer! The next time she asks you that question, you turn to her and say, "Well mom, there are 2 ways i can answer your question: the first, would be the gay version of the "birds and bees" explanation - fairly sterile, medical and straight forward; the second way will be very specific, descriptive and may-or may no- make you uncomfortable...which would you prefer.

I'm betting she'll opt for option 1 and basically, you give here the "well mom, when two men love each other deeply and are in a committed, monogamous relationship, they hug and kiss and then one man gently inserts his penis into his partners rectum - and that's how two gay men make love."

If she presses you for more details, then you just have to take a deep breath and answer. More likely she wants to know about how we prevent getting "dirty" during anal sex, lubrication, etc. I also made it clear to my mom (who wanted the 2nd description) that only men have a prostate gland and that's a key glad in making anal sex between men so pleasurable - i told her it's kinda like the woman's "G-spot" - but we really DO have a prostate gland ahhaha.

This is a critical part of full understanding an acceptance - in my opinion - between you and your mom. Even tho it makes you uncomfortable, it's part of the transition of her really accepting you not only as a gay man - but another adult - her peer.

If you think you mom didn't or dosn't talk to her gal-pals about sex, you're probably wrong. Just take a deep breath, go slow and guage her response - and she'll let you know when she's heard enough.

Regarding her giving your male friends (or boyfriends) the 3rd degree is actually really cool. If you were str8, she'd ask the same questions and do the same thing! So, don't be a jerk, go with the flow and count your blessings you have an accepting mom!
