I'm a dab hand for falling for my friends. I seem to be cursed to only like hetero guys!
I hate to say this but (from my own painful experience) your friend is probably straight, maybe a little curious but not enough to care for you in the way you want. I would advise trying to put it out of your head or somewhere down the line you and possibly him will get hurt.
