I think most of what you are feeling most (yes most) men go through. YOU are in the minority in that you have embarrassed your 'womanly' side with no problem and can sit in judgment of the clumsy males who are too well trained by society to 'act like a dude'.

I'm currently re-reading the Naked Ape: http://www.evolbiol.ru/large_files/naked_ape.pdf its an interesting read, and I have read it a few times through the decades to remind me that I am an animal capable of reasoning, I am not a reasoning animal.

Most of what you are feeling is primordial, animal actions/reactions to billions of years of evolution expressed by a species that flat refuses to accept that it is an animal by its newly evolved social scene (civilization). Thus confusion is going to be a static thing all the time, everyone is confused because we live in denial that we are animals, thus driven by animalistic drives.

Doesn't help that your very genetic material is screaming at you to pair off, and mate like crazy to have offspring. Yeah you still have that drive even though you are gay. This whole 'I want a BF' is your genetics telling you its time to start putting that DNA to the test.

It follows its own logic, the logic of survival of the species - human logic follows different things.

BTW is nice to make goals in life, however life has a tendency to do its own thing so don't be so surprised if you goals fall through.

As for finding love. I assure you it will happen, and will have mixed results..... And yes there will be hurt hearts in the process.
