I was expecting it to be closed. It turned to personal attacks and wasn't a cute post to start with. Religeous debates tend to go that way; you believe what you believe. A bummer nonetheless, I liked it.

Well, one of the many problems of threads on here is that NO ONE ACTUALLY READS what was written! They see a few words of the original post, or they read a few replies and then go off on something that has nothing to do with what was originally asked, written, or offered.

There have been many posts where a reply has been written "I didn't bother reading what the OP wrote, but here's what I think..."

How can you write what you think if you dont even know what the OP wrote????

There have been threads that have been significantly prejudiced and racist on here, that made my simple question extremely pale in comparison.....and yet MY thread was exterminated without warning, comment, or even asking me about it, as the others were left to go on.

It is not MY fault if other people are not going to read what the question or statement actually IS.....and just go off on a tangent of their own accord. And yet, I get blamed for it, by having my thread exterminated, instead of the "offensive" replies being removed instead.

I asked a simple question about something, that was backed by facts, that is going on in my area. And OTHER people turned into a racist "witch hunt", and yet I get blamed for that.

I guess there's a distinction between discussing religion and promoting conspiracy theories about muslim immigrants. Since a lot of members have been reporting the thread and some muslim members have felt uncomfortable around it, a lot of people obviously viewed it as being in poor taste, which is something you're going to have to accept. The forum rules forbid "offensive" posts and it's not solely up to the poster to decide what qualifies as offensive.

About your actual post tinks, it was an interesting observation. But the mess the post derailed into was worth deleting many times over. As you'll have noticed humble's (imo) innocent post was also removed.

No...you didn't mention those two things HOWEVER the points you repeatedly made in the discussion are commonplace there. They have me blocked or I could show you the threads....

That site is an umbrella of hate...it regularly includes a lot of things identical to some ...not all...of the things in the thread that was removed.
