I believe you had your sleep already, but for the next time - just soak them in warm water for some minutes and then immediately go to bed and wrap into blanket. They shouldn't be cold.

They sell these things balled Buckman's Foott Warmers - they're innersoles you put inside a shoe or slipper, or even in a sock at night, and they work great. I use them a lot during New England winters - you can order them on Amazon or pretty much just google and find a source.
The BF-as-foot-warmer doesn't work in our house. The last time I tucked my ice cold feet under my BF's legs, he accidentally (he SAYS accidentally) chucked me out of bed.

Yep socks do the trick for me or when I'm already too tired to get socks I just roll the blanket around my feet.. #Single4ever

I always wrap the bottom of the quilt under my feet so it is nice and cosy.
