If you have ever suffered from kidney stones and wondered why the hell it hurt so much, this will explain it. This is just the surface of a kidney stone magnified by an electron microscope. Imagine that travelling down your urethra!

I remember my grandfather having a babyfood jar filled with gall stones once. He was very proud of them. GROSS.  Life's too short to miss an opportunity to show your love and affection!
