During teenage years, parents are the first to love their son unconditionally. If their son is gay he mostly have to deal with homophobia in society, and his parents should protect him from outside dangers instead of throwing him out, reject or bully him.
Sadly it is quite absurd and disgraceful that most parents who find out their son is gay are intolerant. It's the main reason for gay teens to commit suicide, because they have nobody to turn to, nobody to protect them from such injustice, and young gays don't have the power to live in peace, or at least stay safe. A REAL parent would never shame or insult his son in an interview, even implicitly... That's as far as I know.
Therefore you surely concluded my answer: I completely disagree.
