I'm a : Single Gay Man
Starsign: Pisces
Mood:
Omg this topic gets on my nervs :p I have to agree with evan also. I like the kindsey scale to describe sexuallity and I do believe most people fall somewhere in the middle. I know guys who would never have sex with another man and were offered large amounts of money to do it but turned it down and I even know some guys who went to a state prison for 2+ years and never had sex with other men, like it was stated before these guys are straight, number one on the kindsey scale.
Sure the guys who do sleep with guys may have only had only hetero relationships but both male and female would turn them on sexually. Plus it's way way waaaay to many ways to find a loose female to bang intstead of going out of your way to find an openly gay guy ( which can be few and far inbetween). Take myself for example on the gay side, I'm stuck in the closet horny as hell but I cannot have sex with a female, I'm a 5 on the scale. Further more where the hell are these super horny straight guys and how can I get one, seriouslly, I may be able to legitimatley turn a guy gay or at least blow his back out

Well men in prisons have no option but each other, so I rule that one out.
I'm curious, because I see a lot of posts on gay websites that say there is more than gay, bi. straight, and so straight guys into man on man sex ARE straight and.....well, no. Unless being confused is a label to be used. *winks*

OKAY.... here's how I'm looking at this........
Old men who've have gay sex lives over many decades all seem to agree on this idea of loads of straight men secretly seeking gay men. These older men insist the men they're talking about are not bisexuals. East and Jim both seem to agree with the opinions of the old men in my OP.
Younger guys with sex lives less than a decade all disagree. Even I don't agree with it or understand it which is why I started the thread....
but sorry guys... I'm leaning more towards trusting he wisdom of experience over decades than the best argument put forth so far against them.
But keep on and maybe we can all learn something we didn't know!

Then I guess I'm winks to a certain degree
(All this time I thought I was Bi)
•
Correlation does not equal causation.
And my sex life has spanned almost two decades...
•
lol, that not what I meant by option Meme, but to clarify, in prison they don't have access to women, sometimes for a large number of years. As well, many people, in prison or not, are somewhere on the BI spectrum.
...I'm 59 and am one of those 'old guys'. *winks* Bill's 57.

The secret is...you can't approach them (or having sex with them) as a gay man. They don't want to be the object of your affection....
My favorite one (well...I could do my favorite 10 but I will pick him)...father of 6 kids...biker....hot biker wife...long hair....definite pussy boy. He liked feeling what his wife felt. He was a lesbian trapped in a straight mans body. DAMN he was a great f*ck.
People can insist he was bi but the only kind of man who he would let f*ck him are the men who liked who and what he was....
It is a dance.....

hhhmmmm....
It's very simple to me....men who identify as straight but have sex with men, are simply not straight.
Now, here's the twist, I don't believe it means they are gay or even bi either.
I'm in agreement with Evan and East in a sense.
Almost every guy I've messed around with has identified as straight, had a gf or wife etc and all of them including myself were just looking for nsa fun just to get off, nothing more.
I still don't think they are 100% straight though.
As with myself, I know sexuality is too complex to be lumped and boxed into a convenient, neat little label that rarely reflects reality of personal desires, actions, thoughts, behaviors and fantasies.
Why It doesn't make sense to me to identify with any conventional label...doesn't reflect my sexuality, too restricting, too confining . I suspect there are a lot more men out there like myself who just find it easier and more convenient to go with the straight label. I'm just simply being more honest about it.
Personally, I think being 100% gay or 100% straight is not the norm and is more a minority if people let go of all our society's bs brainwashing and were more honest with themselves.

There are plenty of gay men who "don't want to be the object" of a man's affection. They want to have sex without affection. While we're on the topic, there are plenty of men who want sex with love and romance - that's not specifically a female thing. I have met more men who prefer this type of sex to NSA sex.
And if you're not approaching them as a gay man, then are you approaching them as a woman? Then why doesn't he just have his wife use a strap on? You cannot possibly be approaching him as a "straight man". You both can "pretend" you are straight men, but that's not what's really going on. You're both guys, having hot sex and enjoying it very much. The proof is in the (repressed) pudding.
No one is saying he would necessarily want to settle down with a guy and start wearing rainbow flags. He just wants a quickie and move on. There are an endless population of gay men who want the same thing.
If he enjoyed doing what his wife did... having sex with a man... then he's not 100% straight. If he's a lesbian in a man's body, he's a gay transgender woman who didn't go through transition. I don't think that's what you're implying, but I am throwing it out there.

Yes, I agree with this. They don't necessarily have to be categorized as "bi" or "gay" but they are definitely not 100% straight.
