Bad treatment from people within the gay community
#41
^see, the happy, horny little pansexual bonobos in that example would fashion the bone into a dildo and start an orgy.

Now I have this song stuck in my head...

excalibur77 Wrote:You shouldn't. There are all kinds of gay people on YouTube that are very open-minded, including ones who are active in the LGBT community. I'm sorry if I made it sound like YouTube was a toxic environment for people like us. The close-minded gay personalities on YouTube are actually far and between that you won't even find them unless you specifically look for them, which is what happened with me. I stumbled upon one video of a gay man making fun of bisexual people, it sparked my curiosity if others felt the same way, so I went and searched for more videos like it.
You can find some very informative and inspiring videos on YouTube, both by gay people and straight people. I use YouTube an awful lot. However, it is usually a horrible place, whether you are a gay person, a bi person, or a straight person, to have any sort of meaningful conservation in the comments that follow. I rarely scroll down to the comments. Hateful, ignorant, obnoxious comments are found almost everywhere on the internet, but there are a few places like YouTube, Yahoo News, and local television news and newspaper Facebook pages, that are so overwhelmed with these kind of comments that it is just too difficult to pick out the decent comments to have a decent conversation. It is better to just let the haters have those few places so the rest of us can have good conversations elsewhere. If you want to have a decent conversation about a YouTube video, it is usually better to embed somewhere else and let a conversation flow from there.

The games and judgements in the gay community are pretty sad and pathetic at times. I mean the first time I went to a gay bar it was in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and I was wearing these long shorts that went past my knees and a hockey jersey and a few guys at the bar asked what I was doing there and that the straight bars are down the street and that was one of my first experiences with other guys that are just so full of shit and think that if you are gay you are one way or another.

If you asked me what I prefer to be when it comes to having sex with a guy when it has to do with anal, I would have to say that I am more of a bottom and I guess at one time I thought that I was inferior because I enjoyed having a cock in my ass but I don't really feel that way these days and sometimes I wish I was more of a bottom but my sex life is not as active as it used to be and my hole is tight again but I want to get a dildo and work my way where I can take a nice hard cock inside me.

I am happy with my masculinity and I like that I enjoy cock and I don't feel bad or worse for saying that and I still think that I am a man. I don't have sex that often so I can't always be proud of it. I have a brief experience with a female recently and I sometimes wanted to be the passive partner but that is not possible with a female unless you get her a strap on and she fucks me but I thought that would be a bit strange to ask her to do that. I mean I wouldn't mind being that passive role more often and let a guy take care of me or whatever.

I just think the bullshit and game playing that is within the gay community is sad and pathetic and I don't play those games anymore. I say that if you are confident in who and what you are you won't let the small bullshit that people say or do affect you in the long run, that is there issues and has nothing to do with you or how you really are. I would say that we should wait for a day where ever queer is cool with each other but I don't think that will ever happen.

I have seen that alot lately when I first came out of the closet when I was 22, people would always judge each other and it was kind of sad. Older guys would judge twinks because they didn't agree or like how they acted, twinks didn't like older guys for the same reason. For me I never was into the entire drag queen scene and never undesrtood that either, just like I am sure some people wouldn't be able to understand why a man would ever want to be a real woman and would be transgender.

The judgemental people are not only in the gay world, they are also in the world that I am currently dealing with and thats in the transgender community as well, older girls as they call them judging and thinking they are better than the younger newer ones, its really sad and pathetic to be honest.

I bet the same kind of crap happens in the straight world as well. You just have to find the right people and avoid that sort of attitude.

Wow i have not seen this in person but I didn't know youtube had so much bi phobic idiots , but I have seen some online by both bisexuals and gays I've heard some bisexuals saying that gays are in denial about being bi and no one is 100 % anything , I have also heard some gay people saying this too and i have heard some lesbians and gay men say they wouldn't date bisexuals . I saw a lesbian call a bunch of bisexual women sluts online .and said she was warning lesbian against bisexuals , I've recently seen a bisexual being bi-phobic and getting a pass to be so because they were bi themselves .

ETOTE Wrote:^the even more disturbing aspects there are the concepts of "being gay" and "gay enough."
What would that even mean?

The equivalent of the insecure straight man's macho, hypermasculinity?

Had a woman tell me once she couldn't handle it if her husband was bi because she would be afraid he would be more concerned about pleasuring his prostate through anal than pleasuring her vag with his peen.

She considered herself straight but engaged in same sex activity with other women frequently.

Delusional people can be selfish, judgmental, despicable hypocrites at times

Lol someone's in denial and literally eating her words Catmilk
It's surprising to me how people can be so honest when their a hypocrite talk about the pot calling the kettle black

Wardo94 Wrote:People just take labels way too seriously. Everything is fluid and you're supposed to flow with what you get. But everybody has some desire to label everything, for some reason. You are whatever you are, and if they don't understand it, that's fine. Just cause' they don't understand something, they automatically go on with the notion that it's wrong, and that isn't true! Towards the end of the day, there will always be these kinds of people. And as annoying, and irritating they may be, there's really no way to stop them. I mean, ignore them and just move along with your day. All ignorant people do, is beat you down to their level, and then defeat you with their stupidity, and those situations aren't always pretty.

Not everyone is sexually fluid just saying .Catmilk
I see saying this as monophobic , yes sexuality is fluid but not for everyone .
