Will: Virge...with all due respect, I need to say something. You and Ray are two separate people. You are no more responsible for what he says than he is for your...um...occasional bursts of candor. You can be as angry with him as you like, but you can't control whether or not he returns to the forum. We've made clear that he's welcome. Now it's HIS choice.

Adam introduced me to this forum, and I know that there are times (including now, probably) when he cringes at what I've written here ---but he doesn't feel the need to explain me or make excuses for me, praise me or condemn me.

I think I can speak for most people here when I say that we hold you in high regard, and nothing that someone else does will affect that. You need to let go and let Ray sink or swim on his own.

Stingray has said he regrets his outburst and if your a big enough person to do that then I for one hope he doesn't leave by his own choice or from pressure - if the person on the end of his outburst can accepts his apology then that's all that matters to me.
Ive really enjoyed having Ray here and reading his posts as he comes at things from a different angle to most of us gay people and I do feel sorry for the person on the receiving end of a rant but it is just the once and we all deserve a chance to amend things

I like Ray, so those posts really did surprise me as they were quite crude and uncalled for, but if he seeks forgiveness, I think most of us are willing to forgive it to him. What really bothered me about it in his approach with those comments, there was an important point that was being made that was lost. That point was we need to remember in these advice seeking threads about problems in a relationship, we are only seeing one side of the story.

Believe it or not he'd not been drinking. Since his back operation on the 22nd he's been stuck here at the house, unable to drive or even ride in the car and it was driving him crazy. All he's done is follow doctors orders, walking two hours a day, no lifting. sleeping flat on his back aND..... NO sex. He wasn't asking to get out and do things but I could tell his attitude was headed down the shitter. Then when I started back to school last week he was left here are the house all by himself and that just made it worse for him having to entertain himself and follow the orders. When I came in last Thursday he snapped at me which is something he has never done but I didn't think about it at the time.

I got him up this morning early, fed him breakfast and took him out to the farm to wander around while I helped Mom with horses. After that we had a bit of wicked fun setting up as snipers with my M22 and knocking off about half a squad of invading prairie dog terrorists in the pasture. When he got home Ray was his old self.

Did he take pain pills? That will change your attitude a lot....(though I still think his message was a good one)

Nope. He didn't even take pain pills after I brought him in from surgery. Ray doesn't do drugs for recreation.
