We're just sad that it is all coming to an end with no season 3.

Since when is it not getting a season 3? I've yet to see a cancellation of the show and have just tried to find the announcement. As of now no one knows if it will continue.

I don't think it has been offically cancelled yet...but...the numbers aren't good. IF they keep it...it will be because there is either enough buzz or there is additional interest in places like DVD release...foreign markets...streaming services...HBO on Demand....or simply a hunch or a whim on the part of HBO if the show is inexpensive and will attract enough niche viewers...

...and Dom who was my favorite has moved down to last place. What an ass...I have known so many people like that who lash out at the absolute last person they should lash out at. Sometimes...there are consequences. He can't take back what he said...his character is a tad depressing for me now...

Augustin was interesting this week...sorta...he was honest and he was also transparent with his ex...nice move....

The whole episode was wasted on me with Patrick because of his mom. I watched Newhart every week it was on...I never missed an episode...and it gets in the way because I associate her with her old character (Stephanie)...I keep trying to make the transition...

Instead of Patrick's mom now...I see Stephanie has grown up and is living in SF LOL....

I think Patrick is kinda boring too now.....

Where is Ritchie?

**************

I like how Kevin is when he's "around" Patrick, but I still think he's going to cause heartache.

I agree, Dom was a total ass. I know he was upset and disappointed, but come on, he treated her horribly.

Augustin (who was my least fav due to him acting like a dick last season), is really turning things around. I think he's going to surprise us, and this mural project, I believe he's going to shine and surprise everyone.

I totally get what you said about Patrick's mom and Newhart, I struggled with that as well, lol.

Yeah, I missed Ritchie in the last episode, I like him and I'm hoping his character keeps developing.

I wish they would change the format to hour long episodes; a half hour isn't long enough to fully layout and explore various story lines.

Yeah...they would definitely benefit from an hour format because the stories they are telling require a bit more depth...which requires more time.

LOL...I am glad you got the Newhart reference...loved that show. With so many other characters...I can usually get past a role they are most identified with...but other times...they are forever typecasted and can't get beyond it. Take Frances Conroy from Six Feet Under...it took me three seasons but I FINALLY got it out of my head she was Ruth Fisher in this last installment of American Horror Story.

I also agree...Kevin and Patrick are a train wreck waiting to happen. The way Kevin handled his ex is a permanent red flag and blueprint for the future... and Patrick doesnt get it.

I also agree about Augustin and the mural. That was a gift for him more than for the kids....

seems like looking is quite the topic of discussion... but Julia duffy said it best, and I'm paraphrasing:

"be with someone who wants you and you want to be with. "

life is too short. she doesn't want to look at life and feel like she wasted the past "40" years.

and I agree: paddy and kevin are a trainwreck in the making. even though, paddy deserves to find happiness.

we all do!

Julia Duffy, or rather, her characters, annoyed the ever-loving crap out of me on both Newhart and Designing Women. I had no idea she was even still acting, so good on her; I see she's been busy.

Ok maybe Kevin will surprise us all.... Why are we all so quick to judge that Kevin was with the right guy before? With John? There's so little backup on that story that it's difficult to tell what was going on in that couple and why it broke up so easily...

Hmmmm...

Continuing with things I can relate to ...uniquely as it is coming from a gay series and two men....

The "moving in" thing....and the immediate compromises...all too familiar...but you never get to see two gay men doing it. The party and the grindr profile thing....depressing....glad I get to skip that part of life. I did enjoy gay parties...would NOT enjoy grindr. I wouldn't really want to move in with someone who was on grindr.

Um...Patrick...DUH...of course he hooked up with other people when he was with his ex...he hooked up with you...didn't he? ...and yeah..OF COURSE he will do the same thing to you. It wasn't about his ex...it was about who HE is...

I definitely agree with Kevin about being honest and not knowing what will happen...I agree with him....BUT.....

....but he is NOT honest...it is a footnote....if he really values honesty he would have been honest all along. His proposal doesn't really matter AFTER the deception...he would have had to present himself like that upfront...

The "you just need to trust me" schtick from Kevin to Patrick...uh...again...depressing. Patrick already knows he can't trust Kevin....

The buzz cut request...trying to run away from yourself...never works...though I love a buzz cut...it doesn't change anything that matters

I LOVE Malik...he is not used enough on the series IMO....he reminds me a lot of one of my best friends.

Doris and Dom...great conversation...and I like him again....he owned it...I easily forgive anyone who owns their shit....

Damnit..I am starting to fall in love with this series. I hope they will get another season. It is still up in the air.....

This could have served as a season...or a series...finale....I was paying attention...
