At least Anonymous Prime used the anonymous feature to ask a potentially embarrassing question rather than to cowardly be mean and snarky.

I don't think it's a stupid question. I think it's quite an adorable question. I'm an over thinker extraordinaire, so I understand the impulse to ask such a question here.

My honest advice: don't worry about definitions. If you both like each other then you'll keepseeing each other.

In my current relationship, after a few weeks we had a discussion. That was 12 years ago. My one other very long term relationship of 7 years, we just kind of grew into it. We gradually saw less and less of other people as we spent more and more time together until we finally realized, "oh look, we're now exclusive." That is not uncommon in relationships. The point is, there is not one answer and advice without knowing you and without knowing this other person is not easy to give. Sometimes you just have to trust yourself and your feelings. We don't always get these things right, but that is the risk you take when it comes to dating and love.
