With the exception to writing, yes. I enjoy writing but haven't made much money self-publishing so far. I'm hoping once I get an agent and get traditionally published, I'll at least make a humble return, but I still write even though I may never make much money. All my other jobs on the other hand are ends to a means.

Not really. I only have an associates degree in engineering. Most places would take someone with a bachelor's in underwater basket weaving over me, and I can't complete engineering because it's just too hard for me, so I'm trying to get my accounting degree now.
