It is that time of the year again here on the farm.
Last night at about 6:30 pm we look out onto the back porch and see a young skunk nosing around...I think that he/she had also had their paws on the glass of the french doors and that at least two of our four cats had had some Pepe le Pew fantasy about the raffish black kitty with the white stripe.
Tonight...same time...back again.
And seriously one of the most adorable skunks we've had around.
Every few years we have one turn up and hover over out compost bin in early spring...or god forbid....have their babies in the fence row about 20 feet from the house.
But please. Go away. Shoo.
