Oh at this point any password can be a crappy one if there's someone smart enough to hack it.

"Letmein" made me chuckle It is surprising that people have used such passwords for internet protection however.

Yeah being in IT you'll never know how many people use 'password' or 'password123' or something dumb like that...

When I ran an internet service provider, we had high school students that got ahold of the encrypted password file, matched it through common passwords and a dictionary file, and then knew literally hundreds of people's passwords. I bet sixth graders are doing it now.

I am furious that my bank will only allow me to use a totally numeric password. No letters and no symbols. I have pointed out that a numeric password is probably the easiest to hack but the bank insists that it has had no problems............yet! If my account gets hacked at least I know who to blame.
