I'm sharing erotic pics on the internet.. not sure I'll regret it
#1
I am posting erotic (non pornographic, but fetish related) photos of parts of my body on the internet, and they seem to be quite popular. My face is never visible, and I try my best to not show too much from my place either.

I made an instagram account for this, and gained over 100 followers within 2 weeks.

Most of the times I find it funny and interesting to get attention and likes from very hot and popular guys, which I am not used to.
Also, I would never share a pic of my penis or ass with anyone over the internet.

Only sometimes I wonder, what the hell am I doing there.... and there are a few creepy guys who followed me or messaged me, but they are the vast minority.

...and since I don't know anyone that I can openly talk to about this, as it's way too embarrassing, I thought I'd ask you as an anonymous poster.

Do you think I would regret this one day? Or do you think it's totally fine in nowadays age of internet? Would you do this, or have you done anything like this before?

Hmm...well if your face and other parts of your body aren't in any of these photos you're probably going to be ok. That being said I would be very careful not to leave any breadcrumbs for anyone like your family or friends to find, also be careful not to leave any breadcrumbs for your followers to find. Creepy people, sex predators know no boundaries. If there's any possible way for someone to try to reveal your identity online they will try to exploit it. Not trying to scare you or anything, the odds aren't favorable but should be safe as possible...

Give you an example. You take a picture with your phone, your phone may include location data that one of your followers can get from the image. Not hard to do and there was a thread about getting this sort of data from an image (for another totally different purpose). That's just one way.

I have not done anything like that and frankly I don't feel confident enough about my looks, then again people are into just about anything....and I mean anything.

Only you can tell if you will end up regretting that, and even then it could take a long time for it to happen. If you're happy with posting these pictures and you're doing the best you can to protect yourself then (taking the above information from axle2152 into account) then I see no issues there. There are thousands of blogs on the internet that are all dedicated to men's bodies.

Personally I wouldn't be posting pictures like that, even if I had a body that I could show off. That is just because I only like to share my body in that sense with my partner.

Personally, I don't have a problem sharing my pics, full nude, with anyone. I won't show me doing anything, with anyone though.

Well I do think it is liberating to not feel ashamed of your body to share that sort of stuff... as long as you don't plan on taking public office....which is why, if you do partake in such activities, to hide your face.

Along with public office, a lot of companies do a good bit of snooping, then a lot don't care so much. However, my logic says it is best not to go there... unless you get a hidden service on Tor...

If you're not showing parts of your body that can identify you (face, tattoo, unique birthmark, etc.) then there's really no issue. As long as you don't post things that can identify your precise location or tell people where you are at, it's very likely anyone will ever be able to tie the pictures to you.

Have fun with it if it's your thing, when it stops being fun/starts getting weird and/or uncomfortable, stop.

Edit: Noticed you asked if we had done this before/something like it. I haven't really done anything like this, when I started talking to my partner, or rather after a few months of knowing each other and being really interested in each other, he asked me for a shirtless picture. He had sent one before and lots of pictures (aside from the shirtless one, nothing was revealing at all) we had never met in person so he wanted a shirtless picture of me. I was really apprehensive because I self loath really, really badly but eventually I sent him one and he thought it was very hot and loved it. It felt good being desired for sure. Now about two and half years later we're living together and really happy. I feel a lot more comfortable with him and find myself wanting to send him pictures pretty badly (naked pictures, dick pics, butt pictures, etc.) I don't know if it's because I'm a closet exhibitionist of some sort or what but, I haven't done it yet. Still too shy.

Well I used to do much worse than that when i was 18-19ish. Too scared to hook up with guys so I got my male attention online. With pics, videos and live shows.

Don't regret it at all, it was all harmless good fun.

As for being "found out" you'll be perfectly fine so long as you don't show your face, your real name or an uncovered window. Also don't send any potential boyfriends these pics if you want to keep your online past a secret, reverse image search is a thing now.

Part of me wants to run for political office, so when I'm confronted on stage at the debate I can say, "yes, that is a picture of my fully erect penis. what of it. it's very photogenic don't you think." Catmilk

I only try to make sure I don't send to people that are underage. Otherwise, I'm not shy about it.

Well while some people probably wouldn't care. I don't think it will help you get elected lol

Yeah that's the other thing...underage guys.

Now I might be an asshole for thinking like this but guys who send me nude pictures before even saying hi I feel that they have no self-respect, just not the kind of person I want to associate with. I pretty much ignore them. Used to just block them but apparently there is a limit on how many people you can block on some of these apps. Not to get off subject but some people have like no personality, they're like an empty shell of a person, totally unrelated to the nude picture thing, but they don't have any hobbies, they don't enjoy anything. Either that or they're playing games with me, or trying to use me as a catalyst to get something they want from me. Had an interesting experience this weekend with someone, but it wasn't the good kind of interesting. My empathy for someone got the better of me.

Anyway, I wouldn't mind sending nude of myself if I felt there were something more to look at. I just don't feel I'm all that sexy to be be taking and sending nudes. Now that's not saying I think I'm ugly, I'm not, but not that great looking in my birthday suit. Maybe if I lost another 35 lbs I might be and then I need to get better at trimming up, I think that's another reason. I have tried some things and some places are just hard to reach lol
