What did you have for dinner

Salad, lentil soup, biscuits and brownies with ice cream for dessert.

Some concoction that was my attempt at making homemade hamburger helper. I threw in a pound of ground beef and used the grease to fry an onion with it, drained the excess grease, mixed in two cups of beef broth, a ton of garlic, some bay leaves, paprika, parsley flakes, black pepper, salt, chili powder, a can of spaghetti sauce, some corn starch to thicken it up, some sour cream and grated cheddar cheese, and a pound of penne. It came out okay.

No dinner yet but for lunch I just had a cold pasta salad with cherry tomatoes and chicken and black olives - I am addicted to this salad now for many months. Safeway and Wal Mart and Smart n Final all make it daily so I don't have to even clean up a mess
