As with false claims of rape and sexual assault, false claims of hate crimes detract from the very real cases of crime that occur against everyone.

I agree I think it is terrible that people would swoop so low to make up stuff as it undermines the real victims....

I don't particularly care for the use of the word "snowflake" though...If it is real news they can do without the poor taste in satire.
