We talked on the phone today about my situation and we are meeting for lunch tomorrow.  Guess we will see how things go meeting face to face. I do agree with all you say.

I think (from personal experience and observation) that flirting means different things to different people so it might be less invasive and more of a conversation to maybe discuss flirting and see how he views it and maybe see how you view it as well.
