Except for the brilliant "Rabbit-p roof Fence",I'm not really familiar with Australian TV/cinema (except for Neighbours :redface.Anyways yesterday,I saw,WITH MY BOYS,a movie called "Priscilla : Queen Of The Desert" and it was amazing!It's about these 3 drag queens that trek across the Australian outback and their misadventures.It stars Hugo Weaving aka Agent Smith and another HOT HOT HOT guy.Recommened viewing indeed.

Saw that one when it came out, loved it, bought the CD, bought the VHS video, bought the t-shirt, the pink feathers... the lot, lol... (no actually stopped at buying the VHSn the CD and enjoying Alicia's song...) just bought the DVD recently so I can watch it again. comfortably.

Great movie... very popular around the world. I think it was nominated for some major awards.

A Beautiful Thing is one of those films that gives you hope. I think Sandra is a great mum.

"I absolutely love this movie. It certainly was created for gay men, but as a lesbian, I feel a kinship with other gay people, and I believe this is an excellent movie. The depiction of female impersonators is genuine, and doesn't give the false glamourpuss view that probably causes many outsiders to think all drag queens are just like RuPaul (Nothing against her; she's a diva, but not everyone has so much money!). The portrayal of a relationship involving one gay person and one bisexual person is also beautifully realistic. Ann Bancroft's performance as the Ma is stunning. I believe this movie would also appeal to open-minded heterosexuals who may not have too much involvement with our culture, as it depicts a grittier side of life than the commonly-seen rich gay boy lifestyle. As to answering the question, it's difficult to say which film is the best, as most of the films I've seen with gay interest have formed my understanding of what it means to be gay... Little pieces of the puzzle, that, once put together, give the bigger picture more sense.

Torch Song Trilogy is just amazing. Such emotion.

Ever since seeing it I have been sure that Matthew Broderick is gay/Bi.
