In or Out, doesn't matter.
Nothing changes.

I didn't think of that one (sticker) Amigo but it's a nice one... and says it all (or at least part of it)...

I had it on even before I learned that rainbow meant 'gay'. I just liked it... the music.. and the artwork. And since my car is black, I thought it would go well if I put it on the back.

Very nice! What an elegant way to say that from the straight and narrow (minded) you can become a myriad of different things and colours... metaphorically.

Wow!

Never thought about it like that, but that's very cool way to put it!!

My thought on that artwork was,

"I want to be the prism that sorts out the different colors from the beam of white light."

I'm definitely putting it back on... After learning rainbow meant gay, I took it down and replaced it with something really ugly.

Care to show us what? I don't think Pink Floyd had any notion of the rainbow meaning gay at the time. I think the rainbow flag was adopted some time after the release of their world renowned album... but the prism thing was a logo that was recognised the world around. This Wikipedia page says around 1978. When did the PF album come out? 1973, I believe if it was Dark Side of the Moon

You're fine the way you are Amigo, in or out of the closet. Being out doesn't work well for everyone; it depends on your particular circumstances. It can be dangerous for some people or too disruptive for their social and family life. Things may change in your situation in the future but for the moment it sounds like it's best to go with the flow.

I totally agree. I'd also note that sometimes, a person does well to wait until they are more secure in and comfortable with their sexuality before coming out. Let's face it, coming to terms with the fact that we're gay or bi can be a struggle in it's own right. There are so many questions to answer, things to figure out, and feelings to sort through. Trying to come out while going through all that just adds more stress to the pile, because now you have to deal with other people's questions, confusions, and feelings on top of your own. And it only gets worse if someone decides to respond to you with hostility.

I'm glad I came out, and in the great scheme of things, I think most people are better off coming out eventually. But that word "eventually" is key. For any particular person, "right now" could be really bad timing for any number of reasons.

We can't all be out my friend. I'm a soldier, its who am I in addition to what I do. I don't want to do or be anything else. I can't tell people about being Bi, but it's also who I am. So I live that part of my life in secret, and I know that's not going to change anytime soon. Do I wish I could tell people, sure I do, but I'm a realist and I know that if I came out I'd have to stop being a soldier and I'm not willing to give that up. My point I guess is that you don't have to be out if it won't work for you, you have to look at the situatiuon you are in, as peter said, and you have to figure out what works for you. I hope you figure things out my friend.
