That's wonderful. I'm really happy that your friends were so accepting and that everyone is fine with it. I couldn't have done what you did at school. There was a kid in my class who was outed just as I was initially coming to the realisation I was gay and the result wasn't pleasant. I then hid in the closet for almost the next 20 years as I didn't want the same to happen to me. I am so glad you are not having to go through that.

congrats, I'm glad its worked out for you although, telling your best male friend down a dark alleyway that your gay for the first time sounds like a funny place to do it XD

Wish I had the courage to do that when I came out, the first person I told was my best mate who wasnt shocked at all..lol

But at school I was bullied alot and girls didnt want to know so I kinda always knew I was different. The most difficult part was telling my family as my mum is a full on christian but her reply was I know..
