I wouldn't have texted back. This was the breaking point, I really think our relationship needs to be over completely. Its not good for someone like that to have contact with the person who makes them feel that way. They have to get over it themselves without your help.

My ex's mother warned me not to send emails containing suicidal threats or emotionally manipulative stuff. Like I would do that! My ex is actually the suicidal one. I won't get into details. I hope he outgrew it.

Wow, fenris, good call! I wouldn't have known what to do. These suicide relationships. yeesh. I've been in one too. They turn the whole relationship into a hostage situation, where they ultimately have control of you. Good job dealing with that. I bet its really hard for you.
