When you did Ray Martinez it reminded me of Nancy Martinez....For Tonight...

I think I was the only DJ who ever played it but I loved it....

I went all through this thread, and only one mention of freestyle? Shocked!!! lol

Actually, "For Tonight" was a big dance hit, and it crossed over to the pop charts too.

For those unfamiliar, freestyle is a latin-sounding dance music.....think salsa/merengue mixed with pop music.

A lot of freestyle acts found major success in the late 80s and early 90s with their music. Lisa-Lisa, Exposé, Stevie B., Sweet Sensation, and others.
