I went and saw 50/50 with a friend the other night. It was a good movie, I have to say; funny in parts and really sad in others. Parts of it made me a little unsure, but overall, it was a good experience.

The Happening 2008

a little above medium quality, had an old world charm to it like it was filmed in the 80's. Contagion 2011 did the same subject better.

OK OK I tried watching Citizen Kane and didn't make it this time.... maybe some time when I'm feeling more awake. Have been watching and restoring the subtitle tracks for an Italian film called David's Birthday. It is a beautiful film and I would advise viewing it. However, you should not be too depressed to watch it. The eponymous lead role is held by a superb young man who goes by the name of Thyago Alves, who may be Brazilian (not sure).

OK found this out about him: Thyago Alves ( born in Goiânia, Brazil , 6 September 1984 [or 1982?] ) is a model and actor in Brazil . At 18 moved to Milano, Italy wherehe works for Armani and Versace.

and OMG, his masturbation scene is one of the hottest we've seen in a gay film recently....

i cant seem to find this movie.

I watched 30 Days of Night a couple of nights ago. It's about a town in the arctic circle that gets invaded by vampires during their month of darkness, and they're the evil & scary kind, not romantic or sexy at all. I find that's how I prefer my vampire stories.
