whats the last movie you watched
American Sniper was actually really good! Even though I normally don't like war movies. I didn't know it was based on a true story though, so I seemed to be the only one being quite shocked about the ending..

excalibur77 Wrote:lol I agree somewhat. I did not like that ending at all because the cops and doctors didn't even do much of anything after she returned. They never questioned the pool of blood (or traces of it) they found during the investigation for the "abduction". If it was abduction, how did the abductor find the time to clean it all up and also set up the fake abduction site (the broken table with the upright photo frame). I wish Kim Dickens' character did more beause she was truly badass.

my understanding of that particular ''development'' was that they wanted to pass on that women who are on the receiving end of violence should not be questioned and must be taken at their word. there was a very strong implication towards that. and the ending of the film only served to reinforce it.

that's another thing wrong with it. it was an insult to intelligence and objective judgment.

WOW, that must have been some experience, especially when you consider that it came out in 1939, if my memory's correct.

Scenes of a Sexual Nature... a British romp about people walking and doing other things all over Hampstead Heath. I enjoyed it, it being very tongue in cheek, and endearing as well. It was quirky, as it should be. A very good cast.
