whats the last movie you watched
Steve Wrote:Virge Is that out on 3D Blu-ray yet?

Last movie we saw was Jurassic World in Extreme screen with 3D. Had all the elements of Jurassic Park put in a blender and mixed until lumpy. The special effects were pretty boss, Chris Pratt was nice eye candy, but the movie as a whole was just OK. Not great, but just OK.

Nah... or at least it better not be.

Chris Pratt? I'm surprised Jay hasn't dragged me to the theater to see Jurassic World. He goes gaga for him and Sam Worthington... and any chunky brooding guy with brown hair. That tells me if I ever put on a gut he'll be okay with it.

We watched unknown movie called Scorn last night cuz the guy in it is coming here with others scouting locations for a movie, staying with a friend of my Mom's in Lead SD (pronounced LEED) who has THIS PLACE His name's Eric Johnson and you may know him for playing Flash Gordon on tv series.

Here is how he looks now.

Here he is on right in scene from Scorn. Interesting plot. Not what we expected.

Ex Machina

I hadn't seen a trailer for this. All I knew was it was about A.I., and some people were comparing it to Blade Runner. It certainly has similar characters and themes, but this is much more akin to a Frankenstein for the digital age.

Story is told through a series of conversations between the three central characters; it's very quiet, very slow paced, and uses a methodical approach to engage the viewer. Though it did finally succeed, the end result turned out to be 3 out of 4 Stars.

Didn't really add anything new to the A.I., discussion.

Tomorrowland. Good entertainment but a little strange. Before that, San Andreas. I love disaster movies and living in the bay area we will be wiped out by a huge tsunami also! Cant wait until it's out on blu ray 3D! Minion movie is next on the list.
I can EXPLAIN it to you but I can't UNDERSTAND it for you

I Watched Maggie starring Arnold Schwarzenegger...thought it would be a good zombie romp but turns out it was a totally boring drama and I hated it.

after that I watched Get Hard with Will Farrell - I like him anyway but it was a good fun comedy and well worth a watch
