Consequently, you know everything that happens in advance. National Treasure installments at least had some interesting character dynamics, while this one was dry. It's like they're making these films on autopilot by now. No feeling in it whatsoever. For those of you who haven't seen it: the interesting visual effects that you see in the trailer happen under dream/vision conditions and have absolutely no relevance to the film whatsoever.

But I thought it was still pretty good. I'm still processing all my thoughts on it, but I'd recommend it to people interested in a subtle, quiet reflection on homosexuality and masculinity.

I watched this thing called "Oblivion" on TV... I found it creepy... but also similar to Independence Day.
