I don't remember it that well
#1
Your name was Jacob or Jerome
We met in Paris or in Rome
At someone's party or a bar
Your face, or arm, revealed a scar
I don’t remember it that well
But I recall your sexy smell

I either smiled or winked at you
Your eyes were hazel, maybe blue
Looked twenty, no, thirty years old
With longish hair, or were you bold?
I don’t remember it that well
But I recall your sexy smell

You came from Cyprus or from Spain
The night was clear, or did it rain?
Full moon, oh no, a moonless sky
You laughed aloud or let a sigh
I don’t remember it that well
But I recall your sexy smell

We went for a walk, or did we dine?
Then ended up at yours or mine
We made love twice, thrice I believe
You stayed all night or did you leave?
I don’t remember it that well
But I recall your sexy smell

Yes I liked your poem too... Your poor memory needs to be jogged....
lol. It's sad, in a way, that you can't remember his name of anything specific about him.... except that you made love three times.
Incidentally, there's a song (I believe in Gigi), that reminds me of this poem .... but maybe it's not in Gigi although Maurice Chevalier springs to mind.

yes, my memory isn't too bad... were you inspired by this, Verse-a-tile?
