Friend thinks being bisexual is an addiction...
#1
Alright, last week, at the end of school, i found out my friend got suspended from school lookin at porn on the computer... apparently he had no idea they track every site we go on -.-

Anyways, we were talking about this for what, maybe ten minutes, when somewhere in our conversation we were talking about how it was an addiction, blah blah blah... anyways then he goes on to say that it's like being bisexual for me is an addiction....

How exactly do i explain to my best friend, that being bisexual is, in no uncertain terms, a life sort of thing? I would try to, but i really dont know how to explain it to him.

Personally, I would ask him whether or not he thinks being straight is an addiction. If he says no, ask him why he thinks being bisexual would be.

It's kind of interesting. I've thought about bisexuality quite a bit. I've heard many different opinions on it from various people. I once new this girl who mentioned she likes sex with men and women, so someone said "You're bi? cool." And she replied with "I'm not bi, I'm just horny."

Another very very good friend of mine who studied philosophy and loved philosophical debates argued that there is no such thing as bisexuality. I don't agree, but after he explained himself, I can see where he's coming from. He defined homosexuality as not having sex with other men/women, but being able to be romantically involved and have a relationship with them just like a hetero couple would be with the opposite sex. By this reasoning, he claimed that "bi" people are either straight people who also like sex with other men/women, or gay people that also enjoy sex with the opposite gender. He believed that "true" bisexuality is being equally attracted to both sexes and being capable of having a relationship with either, and he never believed that people like that could actually exist. Since I'm not bi, I can't understand the concept entirely, but I valued his reasoning, because sexual orientation does have both sexual and emotional factors.

Anyway, I don't know why I said all that, but hey. It's NOT an addition. You could desire a relationship with both sexes, or it could be that you are sexual open and versatile, but whatever your sexuality is for you, it's who you are and anyone who says otherwise is WRONG. 100% W R O N G.

Well first you tell him he doesn't know what the fuck he's talking about. Then you tell him to get some self-control and keep his dick in his pants until he's home or something, jeez.
