A new dream thread.

I dreamed a very strange dream this night. I was a member of some big community where the deal was to legalize some strange white molded cheese that got you really high when you ate it, and you had to eat it with an alive golden fish for some reason I do not remember. As we also marched many protests against the Swedish Parliament to get it legalized. I also remembered that the sky was magenta colored for some reason (Pink, purple, orange mixed).

After it I woke up and had to pee in the middle of the night.

When I laid back to sleep I had that mountain top chair dream again, only this time the color of the sky was exactly the same as the dream I dreamed earlier during that night (as the other Mountain top chair dreams sky color was sunset) and time was going really fast, atleast double the speed from the previous Mountain -11- dream. Why? :O

Let me "stew" on this one a little bit. Wish I had my books near me so I could research the "gold fish". That's gotta be a cool one.

Here's a crazy one i had - from sometime last week:
I'm in a college building walking towards the door. When I go outside there's some guys out there with guns loading them up/getting them ready to go shoot the place up

I go back inside walking as fast as I can (can't run) but they've seen me...I have a good head start but they can run. I find t nearby empty classroom & go in, it has another smaller room off it so I go there to 'hide'. I can hear gunfire in the hall (both normal guns & a machine gun). One of the guys enters the classroom & finds me. He points the gun at me & i say "please don't" he fires the gun into the floor & leaves. <strangely this whole time I'm not really scared or afraid>

One of the weirdest dreams I've had in a long time.

The close gunshots were LOUD ... but in reality were probably just some of those little creak/pop sounds houses make at night (from previous dreams over the years I've determined that can cause loud bangs in a dream)

Your dreams, more than anybody else I've known, seem to be influenced by real life noises (thunderstorms/creaking houses). That's real interesting.

Your dreams are tough for me. Not to mention my work schedule has me pretty wiped out and I don't feel I can give this the attention I'd like to give it.

I do think passing through a door is a pretty important action, only to be chased "back in" and yet shown some "mercy" (perhaps?).

I don't know, what are your thoughts on this one?

I'm also having a tough time with this one too. Additionally, I'm sorry (in a way) that you still had the mountain top chair dream again. Apparently whatever is triggering that dream is still a factor in your life.

The cheese/goldfish dream, to me, seems like an act of ritual initiation, but that's just me. I wondering how it felt to you in the dream?

As for the color magenta, when I get back home (I'm traveling for work right now) I'll look it up in my books and see if I can find any significance or connotation to that color...

...now that I'm thinking about it a little...those are some warm colors, but purple has blue in it which is cool. Purple is also the color of royalty. And of course lavender is totally gay.

Not totally sure on this one, but back in this thread about a week ago, I mentioned an old dream where i was walking through a highschool that'd had a shooting...looking at the date I posted that, I think it might have triggered the subconscious "thought" which made for the basis of this dream.

As to why the gut did nothing more than shoot the floor, I'm guessing maybe because i had no fear?

When it comes to dreams I believe "the only thing you have to fear is fear itself" tends to hold true ... the more 'afraid' you are of something in a dream, the worse that dream will be (more likely to become a nightmare)

Sounds good except to me it seems like you were "exiting", not entering.

I hate to pursue the obvious, and I don't know where you stand in real life, but in your dream, you're COMING OUT only to be chased back in.

Yep I did exit, but also did enter too LOL
The dream book I have only mentions entering a door, not exiting

Well in real life I'm not out, at this point I'm not ready/don't wish to be... but also due to where I live I couldn't be out, even if I wanted to.
Interesting notes on this:
* If you woulda asked about coming out even in the first part of the year I woulda said "never" (where now I can't say "never" anymore)

* This was also the first year I ever went to a pridefest (even tho I have wanted to for probably the last 10 years LOL ) so in a way you could say i was out for a few hours one day in late spring, and again for a few hours one day in late summer (ever since that first pride i have felt alittle more open)...

I had a dream that i was in some dingey room on a operating table with some guy cutting me open while i was awake but under enough anethesia to dull the pain.....there's nothing wrong with me is there:eek though i do remember that dream scaring the hell out of me when i woke up)
