My boyfriend doesn't seem to like one of my newly discovered or rediscovered fetishes. We haven't really tried it out, but I was hoping it would get him a little more excited. I am a little worried.

Well you could always approach it as a "You do this for me and I'll do something for you" scenario. He indulges your fetish then you indulge his type of thing. There's a lot of fetishes out there some I'm sure he has his too.

Well everyone has some fetish that they want to try at the back of their brain. I'd say try to get him to open up a little and just ask him if there's anything at all he wants to try. Any little fantasy he's had even one time.

Just a question though, how far out there is your fetish? I mean are you asking him to do something totally outrageous, or is it just a typical fetish. You have to keep in mind people can have a fetish for anything, and if it's something way way out there, like so far out he's never even heard of it, you may be out of luck. If it's something that at least he's heard of or has a few web sites or fetish porn dedicated to it, I'd try to get him to check them out. Something might spark if he sees other people doing it/how it's done.

It is fairly common among all guys (straight, bi, or gay) from what I have read online. It is slightly embarrassing to me though.

Well if it's fairly common then there's bound to be some websites/porn about it somewhere. Fetish porn is a good place to start just because it's safe and instructive at the same time. Plus like I said he might just be intimidated because he's never considered it before. I have an odd fetish too, it's nothing to be ashamed of. People see sex/attraction in thousands of ways and sometimes it triggers strange fetishes that make no sense to anyone but they sure can be fun :p. Try to keep him open to the possibility without forcing the issue.

As long as your fetish does not include any painful or degrading acts I can't see the problem??
