Yes we go to pubs. Pubs are generally more relaxed, bars are more cocktail-y. It’s hard to convey. Some pubs by me are in the middle of the countryside so are all about ale, log fires, roasts and pre-Covid, coziness. Pubs also tend to have ”˜beer gardens’ in the summer eg you can sit outside on benches or whatever.
Gossip is the Devil’s telephone; best just to hang up.
