LOL, what is the season in Australia now? Shouldn't "overcast" be a bit like a standard?

Winter now and winter is the driest season of the year.

blue skies here 99% of the time. I live in a sub-tropical part of Australia where most of our rain normally comes from afternoon and evening storms, the days aren't normally gloomy, but after the last 6 months, I guess overcast id the new normal thanks to those on the other side of the world that stole it.

I see. I remember missing the sun terribly after I got back from Beijing. Winters were sunny with clear sky, autumns were sunny. I have never noticed that we almost don't have clear sky that that half of the year. I don't mind actually, but at that time the change was a bit brutal.

We've had blue skies and warm temperatures for most of this week! Glasgow is still in a state of shock at this turn of weather. I even had to dig out my sunglasses! It's unheard of! My vampiric skin is not happy though :biggrin:
